Bill Viola and Kira Perov in Conversation with Clare Lilley

Memory, water and the passage of time in Bill Viola's work.

My role: Direction, Editor

Bill Viola and his creative partner Kira Perov join Clare Lilley to discuss his childhood, career and exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Their conversation moves between personal memory and the ideas behind his video installations.

Excerpts from the works give those reflections a visible setting, from figures submerged in water to the fire of Tristan's Ascension. The film accompanies YSP's 2015 exhibition.
