Caro in Yorkshire
Anthony Caro's sculpture, from painted steel to his final works.
My role: Direction, Editor
Made for the 2015 Caro in Yorkshire exhibitions, the film follows Anthony Caro's changing approach to sculpture, from early figurative work to painted steel and his final experiments with Perspex and found materials.
Archive interviews with Caro sit alongside contributions from Paul Caro, Eleanor Clayton, Tim Marlow and Peter Murray. The exhibitions at Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth Wakefield explored different aspects of his work, bringing colour, painting and architecture into the story of his sculpture.
