Chill Pill: Two Motion Directions

Two motion studies testing how far the cooling-device campaign could shift in tone and energy.

My role: Creative Direction

Two playful motion explorations made while learning Weavy and testing the limits of generated product imagery. Keeping the form and logos consistent was a particular challenge at this stage.

The 3D approach plays off the Chill Pill colourways, rotating the product through colourful spaces that respond to its movement. The sticker approach draws on London's sticker culture, keeping the product centred while static images carry it through different city settings.

Generation was only part of the process. Short usable moments were selected and assembled in After Effects, with post-production shaping them into a coherent sequence. The sticker treatment takes a stop-frame approach, building motion from still photographs.

All visuals and workflow development by Will Simpson. Both films remain motion explorations rather than finished campaign work.
