Making the Invisible Visible

Location-based visual effects developed alongside the LA shoot and early edits for the Shark HP360 air purifier campaign.

My role: Creative Direction, Motion Direction, AI Generation, Workflow Design

Everything started with the real location. While the crew was shooting in LA, I was in Leeds developing the environments and visual effects from reference photographs sent by the producer. The work ran alongside the shoot and the first edits.

The brief was to make the invisible visible for the Shark HP360 air purifier family campaign. The location photographs became the basis for reconstructed rooms, additional camera angles and studies of dust, pollen, pet hair, cooking fumes and cleaning-spray mist.

Keeping the room, lighting and camera relationships consistent gave the effects a shared starting point with the live-action footage. The generation workflow and shot development were my responsibility.

Natural-language and JSON prompting allowed precise changes to the images. The compilation and individual studies below show the generated development work. Some shots were used in the campaign edit; the finished campaign film is not included here.
