Of Mice and Men
George and Lennie's dream of a place of their own, brought to the stage by Mind the Gap.
My role: Projection Design
Mind the Gap brought John Steinbeck's story of George and Lennie to the stage in Mike Kenny's adaptation. Their hope of a home of their own sits against the precarious lives of the men and women around them.
The projection shifts between rooms, landscapes and large portraits, giving the spare stage a changing sense of place. Faces appear across the set, while drawn doors and domestic details turn its white surfaces into the spaces of the story.
