Thomas Houseago

Commissioned by Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle and produced by Omni Pictures, this film follows Thomas Houseago's return to Yorkshire for a new body of public sculpture presented during Yorkshire Festival 2014.

Curators and visitors discuss the physical energy of Houseago's work, his roots in Leeds and his relationship with Yorkshire's sculptural history. The film moves between the monumental figure installed on Leeds Art Gallery and Large Owl B at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, showing both works in their public settings.

The commission formed part of the cultural festival accompanying the Tour de France Grand Départ, with workshops and activity across the Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle.
